Group Assignment 2: Colour Wheel

This is the group assignment of color wheel.

We actually had a lots of ideas but lastly we came out with a String arts with rainbow color.

And our group members are Me, Clarin , Evelyn , Ashley and Zachary!! And so we change our group name to SCAZE.

Below shown some of the process of our string arts.

Firstly, we asked clarin to lie on the board and imagine the portrait and drew it out .

We also brought the rainbow colors of string to be out main material . 

This is the second day that we doing the string arts at pod class.

All of us helping each other doing the works.And specially thanks Ilisa and Nelson which helping us too xD

Individual Assignment 5: Colour Values!

This portrait was doubtless painted in Florence between 1503 and 1506. It is thought to be of Lisa Gherardini, wife of a Florentine cloth merchant named Francesco del Giocondo - hence the alternative title, La Gioconda. However, Leonardo seems to have taken the completed portrait to France rather than giving it to the person who commissioned it. It was eventually returned to Italy by Leonardo's student and heir Salai. It is not known how the painting came to be in François I's collection.

So, these were the hot and cold colors that i edited by photoshop. It helped me to improve my edit skills and the knowledge of colors.
On that day, Miss Lisa seperated our works into 3 groups , Very good , Good , and Not good.
My works were displayed at Good but not Very good .I will try and try to do the best in my works of futures ...

Individual Exercise: Colours

On October 1st , Miss Lisa was given us a assignment about colours .Each colors have each meanings and mood depend on.We also learned how fonts play an important role in getting the right emotions .On the class , Miss Lisa Explained the meaning of colors and the following was the meaning of the colors .

Red symbolizes: action, confidence, courage, vitality

Pink symbolizes: love, beauty

Brown symbolizes: earth, order, convention

Blue symbolizes: youth, spirituality, truth, peace

Purple symbolizes: Royalty, magic, mystery

Black symbolizes: Death, earth, stability

Gray symbolizes: Sorrow, security, maturity

White symbolizes: Purity, Cleanliness

I used rainbow-ish color to represent my name because i trust that nobody will only represent one emotion but full of emotion in our life, am i right ?
And i can be courage ,childlish ,positive , health , respect , luxury ,and a lots of emotion!

Individual Assignment 4: Paper Cutouts

We were given a assignment by Miss Lisa which is The Paper Cutouts.This was the assignment that i spend most of my time on it .All of our classmate spend a lot of effort and time with their works on this assignment and their paper cutout was awesome and delicateness.

Each of us was given to do two difference design paper cutout by Miss Lisa.The first paper cutout was balance and symmetry and the second paper cutout was dominance,space and weight.

These were my works that done with my passion .
I love the paper cutouts of mine which was a girl and a guy kissing below a tree.That works spend me a day night to cut out the details on a single paper!

Introduction to Paper Cutting

After the grids presentation Miss Lisa had taught us the way of using the pen knife and blade.It was not simple as we though , it was a exactness work that you need to spend your patient and your time on it .These was some of the paper cutting of Miss Lisa shown that i like the most.

In - Class Activity: Brochure Design

I had a quiet long time didn't update my blog already since we had a lot of assignment to do :( .From now i will continue my blog to sharing my works of POD.On this day , Miss Lisa given us an assignment in class which is making a brochure within 2 hours .And we need to decided our partner to do this assignment , so i cooperate with Nelson and did the brochure together because we are always the most positive partner ever xD!Am i correct Nelson ?We need to choose our theme , color , article , layour grid and some pictures, we went to the information counter and found some pictures with relate to our theme , FOOD.

 This was the first things we did, paste all the picture to create the beauty of our brochure .

And we used some material , ruler , paper , glue ,color pencil .












So, this was what our 2 hours result !!!









I learn a lot in this assignment , the most i gain was the friendship and i enjoyed with my friends.

Individual Assignment 3:Grid design- The presentation day ..

Yo...it was a bad-luck day that i had today .My work which put into the pendrive had gone which i trying to print it out at school .Somethings wrong in my pendrive ? maybe? But at last it was going fine .I do it at our school's computer room at last minutes .Luckily, i have some times to do it and print it out .

Finally i had presented my Grid design.As Ms Lisa said , we need to put more effort on it to make it better but i do in last minute so i didnt aspect my work will be the nice in class but Ms Lisa still encourage me that i done a nice job which have a tidy's grid, thanks Ms Lisa.

My theme is the brand of sport shoe , Nike .I found it on internet and found out the details and paste at the grid design, we had 3 grid design which was column ,baseline and golden ratio .
These are my design of grid :(the picture will be update after monday 1st october because my memory card was lend to my teammate of cts for project we had . sorry for didnt update.)

Individual Assignment 3:Grids

Today, we have a new assignment of POD, that is Grid system.Ms lisa used power point and give us some example and explain to us how the Grid system working .So, The main reason that we learn this assignment is learning how to arrange picture and words for magazine or newspaper to make it more interesting.

We had learn the grid variation which have baseline ,columns,rules of thirds and the last one is golden ration.

And we had in class activities too, work time has begun^^
1st activities was using some different markers to draw out the line on newspaper of magazine which we brought it to campus .

Then, we were required to design our own layout and design.Header , sub header ,callouts ,picture and articles were the basic things that we need to put into the layout which we going to design .

Group Assignment 1: Furniture Design: Presentation Day

Although we are not the best group but we cherish about this frienship .

We spend all of the time and effort on it and hope that it will process it successfully .

This is what our group done .

The theme of this lamp is Planet.

It made u feel like u stay outside of earth and relax.

Yeah yeah we done our group assignment and i have fun and enjoy while doing this assignment .
Although we had some quarrel but we didint put it into heart and we still a nice teammate !
In this assignment , i learn a lot such as how to manage your time , teamwork ,tolerate ,enjoy each other and morrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeee.
And i still gain a lot of things. This assignment let me know , do a furniture not a easy work .
But the most important things i gain is ... our friendship . A hard and not easier broke's friendship .
Frienship is not a things that u can use money and hardworking to buy it or fight for it , it need time to gain it with slowly , right our team - SCA-DEZ?

assignment 2

4th Sep 2012

That day, we had hand up our assignment , my assignment was not nice that was because i don't really understand what i should do .I need to learn and concentrate in the class and asking friend what we going to do next time.I felt relax when finish the assignment that day :D

The Group Assignment !!

That was a day i went to Sunway Pyramid by feet and sweating all over my body.

yeahhh, these were 3 litter boys walking to the sunway pyramid too and it is walk together from the left the shortest to the right the longest, it is cute XD
(back to topic)

I was late but my TEAMMATE didn't blame me but asked me to treat a starbuck , especially Denny :P

Everyone gave many examples and listed down all the materiel that we need to use in our furniture and we decided to choose some materiel which secret now but it will present it after next week i think (?)
This is what we sketched and finalize the furniture ,we designed it with a aquarium's theme which is a stand lamp ( fantastic right ?!)

That was the day to say byebye when we had finished our discussion ,my TEAMMATE !!

Assignment 2

August 27

It is a outdoor study and i enjoy it .Our lecturer want us to take 20 pictures of a title with a frame which made by us .That day had a event that i don't know what was the event actually and i shoot a picture i love very much and i want to share with u all .

It is a robot ?ya i think so .I love the scene and the colour i shoot it that day and it is clear and the background  which had some blur effect .

On that day, Our POD lecture- ms lisa want us to take 20 picture in the campus and 30 outside the campus, collect them and make it to a slide show and present to her .
I chose a title which is simple, it is t-shirt.Why i chose the title with t-shirt is because that my girlfriend likes me to wear t-shirt and i always thought about her in the class (dont scold me :P)
After that i go pyramid with my girlfriend for the 30 picture .We are fun that doing the assignment that day because we went to many branded shop and secretly shoot their shirt .We also that some shirts into the fitting room and shoot inside the fitting room and we did not buy it .I think the workers on working that day was thinking that we were so WEIRD! XD
Thankyou my girlfriend that willing to help me and do my assistant that day, without her i can't enjoy my assignment .

My Self Portrait

hmm Hi .
I am Song Da which taking foundation in design and my english not very well , please don't laugh me .This is my self portrait and i imagine that i am a charater of a animation which name One Piece , a most famous cartoon on internet .My drawing skill poor too and i hope i can learn and improve it .So, this is my self portrait .

It it so ugly and funny right ?Stop laughing me!!!That day ,our lecturer gave us about one hour and a half to finish our self portrait, so i started with my friends to find out some ingredient to design my portrait .Firstly, i drew a character from one piece , it names is Monkey-D-Luffy.Although it is not me but i like to be him.He is awesome and he is my most admire person in the world .He has the spirit that never give up and i hope i will also never give up in anythings included my studies.Sometimes when he met some problem he always thought positive to solve the problem, that is his strong point!!Lets back to topic,after that we chat-ing non-stop and ran all over the whole campus and found some leaves ,wasted paper ,stone and etc.I chose some leaves which near the back gates to pretend my hair.I love red colour and i pick up some plastic which was red colour and cut it out the be my shirt.The last thing i did was cut a plastic which someone threw on the floor to be the nose of my portrait . That's all i done for my portrait .
