Last assignment Last day that learn 2D.

Today was a moody day while i heard that this is the last day that can learned 2D and learn from ms Lisa.
SO today we have 2 musics for us to draw 2 different kind of canvas. The 1st one is classic and the second 1 is modern.But both of my canvas almost the same because it present "Sadness change to energy".

Group Assignment 2:Batik the presentation day.

Finally , The presentation day had arrived.
Today i am very enjoy and cheer that can present what i did for my batik .
So basically our batik theme is nyonya and tribal style.
We have 6 layout and this idea was come from a junior's artwork- the paper cutout that have 3 patterns in 1 paper cut.(If i didnt guess wrong was the 1 that have brunch , heart )
I used this kind of concept to design our batik to become changeable .

Group assignment 2 :batik

Today we having a journey to a batik factory nearby the time square , kl.
I am so excited to visit the batik factory because I love 2D works so much .
We arrived at school at 8 oclock in the morning and we waiting the bus to fetch us at 9 oclock . After a hours , we arrive the place .We started to watch the workers there how to draw the batik .
They was awesome xD

I am so happy that everyone come in our class , first things will do is play our crackers xD!
We are so success although our project is simple ~

Group assignment 1: live size game

Finally we have our 1st group assignment at the semester 2 , this group assignment is a huge life size game with black and white color only as the color theme. The assignment was to use paper cutting making the 2D paper into 3D form. Our theme was arcade game. We were supposed to turn our class into an arcade center like the one in the olden days.
And our game is the crackers !
The crackers that u play with your family , mum, dad, sis , bro and relatives , the games that u won't be able to forget from older people . To me , this is a nice challenge and can have a nice teamwork with my older teammate .
We are the effective team xD
Me , Juin , Eevon , Evelyn and Clarin are the same team.

Individual assignment 2: paper cutout

Today our assignment is expanding squares which means using a square paper and we cut from inside and place it outside and form some shapes and patterns. At first , I cut out the 4 angle 1st to make it look like 4 building that with perspective top view .

After a long long holidays , class has started again ._.
I was not ready but I have to. In our first 2D class , ms Lisa was giving us a lecturer and a in class assignment as usual .
She letting us guess what our 1st in class assignment is but no 1 was correct .
So basically the assignment was same as our first semester , our self portrait ~
But this time we need to did it more professional .
She gave us about 2hours for the assignment , without wasting times, we started to find the material to make our self portrait .
I decided to make my self portrait with unique and suitable for my characteristic , I found a pack of balloons at a shop.
And I choose a pink balloon for me with match me because pink represent a childlike people . I also put some paper and draw the face on it .
Andddddddd this is my self portrait !!

Group Assignment 2: Colour Wheel

This is the group assignment of color wheel.

We actually had a lots of ideas but lastly we came out with a String arts with rainbow color.

And our group members are Me, Clarin , Evelyn , Ashley and Zachary!! And so we change our group name to SCAZE.

Below shown some of the process of our string arts.

Firstly, we asked clarin to lie on the board and imagine the portrait and drew it out .

We also brought the rainbow colors of string to be out main material . 

This is the second day that we doing the string arts at pod class.

All of us helping each other doing the works.And specially thanks Ilisa and Nelson which helping us too xD

This is the final outcome of our portrait , we spend a lot of effort on it , i am proud of our works.

Individual Assignment 5: Colour Values!

This portrait was doubtless painted in Florence between 1503 and 1506. It is thought to be of Lisa Gherardini, wife of a Florentine cloth merchant named Francesco del Giocondo - hence the alternative title, La Gioconda. However, Leonardo seems to have taken the completed portrait to France rather than giving it to the person who commissioned it. It was eventually returned to Italy by Leonardo's student and heir Salai. It is not known how the painting came to be in François I's collection.

So, these were the hot and cold colors that i edited by photoshop. It helped me to improve my edit skills and the knowledge of colors.
On that day, Miss Lisa seperated our works into 3 groups , Very good , Good , and Not good.
My works were displayed at Good but not Very good .I will try and try to do the best in my works of futures ...

Individual Exercise: Colours

On October 1st , Miss Lisa was given us a assignment about colours .Each colors have each meanings and mood depend on.We also learned how fonts play an important role in getting the right emotions .On the class , Miss Lisa Explained the meaning of colors and the following was the meaning of the colors .

Red symbolizes: action, confidence, courage, vitality

Pink symbolizes: love, beauty

Brown symbolizes: earth, order, convention

Blue symbolizes: youth, spirituality, truth, peace

Purple symbolizes: Royalty, magic, mystery

Black symbolizes: Death, earth, stability

Gray symbolizes: Sorrow, security, maturity

White symbolizes: Purity, Cleanliness

I used rainbow-ish color to represent my name because i trust that nobody will only represent one emotion but full of emotion in our life, am i right ?
And i can be courage ,childlish ,positive , health , respect , luxury ,and a lots of emotion!

Individual Assignment 4: Paper Cutouts

We were given a assignment by Miss Lisa which is The Paper Cutouts.This was the assignment that i spend most of my time on it .All of our classmate spend a lot of effort and time with their works on this assignment and their paper cutout was awesome and delicateness.

Each of us was given to do two difference design paper cutout by Miss Lisa.The first paper cutout was balance and symmetry and the second paper cutout was dominance,space and weight.

These were my works that done with my passion .
I love the paper cutouts of mine which was a girl and a guy kissing below a tree.That works spend me a day night to cut out the details on a single paper!

Introduction to Paper Cutting

After the grids presentation Miss Lisa had taught us the way of using the pen knife and blade.It was not simple as we though , it was a exactness work that you need to spend your patient and your time on it .These was some of the paper cutting of Miss Lisa shown that i like the most.

In - Class Activity: Brochure Design

I had a quiet long time didn't update my blog already since we had a lot of assignment to do :( .From now i will continue my blog to sharing my works of POD.On this day , Miss Lisa given us an assignment in class which is making a brochure within 2 hours .And we need to decided our partner to do this assignment , so i cooperate with Nelson and did the brochure together because we are always the most positive partner ever xD!Am i correct Nelson ?We need to choose our theme , color , article , layour grid and some pictures, we went to the information counter and found some pictures with relate to our theme , FOOD.

 This was the first things we did, paste all the picture to create the beauty of our brochure .

And we used some material , ruler , paper , glue ,color pencil .












So, this was what our 2 hours result !!!









I learn a lot in this assignment , the most i gain was the friendship and i enjoyed with my friends.
